Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of oil
1 medium
onion finely chopped
500 grams
of cauliflower florets finely chopped
½ tsp of
mustard seeds
5-6 curry
leaves
2 tsp of ginger garlic paste
1 tsp of
tomato paste or 1 medium tomato chopped
1/2
teaspoon turmeric
1 tsp ground red chili pepper
1tsp of coriander
powder
1tsp of
cumin powder
½ tsp of
garam masala powder
1 potato peeled
and chopped into 1inch cubes
Salt to
taste
Process:
1. In a Large pan heat oil and add mustard
seeds, let the mustard seeds crackle and then add curry leaves add the onion and
fry till golden brown.
2. Stir in the garlic and ginger
paste and cook for a minute or two till the raw smell of garlic is gone.
3. Add tomatoes/tomato paste. Mix
Thoroughly, cover and simmer for 2 mins.
4. Add turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander
powder and cumin powder and add little water to avoid the masala from burning.
5. Add the cauliflower florets and
chopped potatoes and cover the pan and let it cook on simmer till the potatoes
and cauliflower are cooked through.
6. Add salt to taste.
Serve with
Rotis.
